Ex-Zel Janitorial Services, Inc. has been providing commercial cleaning services throughout Northern Virginia and the Metropolitan Washington, DC area, to all types of facilities, for over 30 years.

We are proud of our conscientious, individualized service and our keen attention to detail. We realize how important image is to a business and what a positive impression a clean facility makes with the public, business associates and employees.

Bruce Devlin

Bruce Devlin


As President, Bruce has focused on expanding the company each year since taking over the family business in July 2005. A top priority for Bruce has been maintaining the personalized customer service that the company was founded on in 1987 and is what sets us apart from our competition and allows us to keep our customer base for many years. Bruce previously worked for Red Coats, Inc. for 13 years as their IT Manager.

Bruce is lifelong resident of the DMV, having grown up in Bethesda, Maryland. After getting his BS in Business Management from Guilford College in Greensboro, NC, Bruce and his wife, Kenna, moved back to Northern Virginia where they currently reside in Leesburg with their wonderful daughter, Camie.

Mike Holbert

Senior Operations Manager

As Senior Operations Manager, Mike is responsible for the day to day operations of the company. He works directly with our clients and supervisory staff to maintain the high standards of cleanliness we are known for at each of our locations. Mike has over 35 years of experience in the Janitorial field in the Virginia, Maryland and Washington, DC area. Mike works very closely with our clients to make sure all their needs are met. He directly supervises our regional team of Area Managers.

Mike is from Fairfax, Virginia and knows the area very well. He graduated from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia with a double major in Marketing and Management. He is an avid Racquetball player and golfer and an overall sports enthusiast to include season tickets to the Washington Nationals. Mike has twin boys and one daughter and currently resides in Chantilly, Virginia.

Adam Culver

Operations Manager / Division Manager

As Operations/ Division Manager, Adam works closely with Mike Holbert and oversees the special services division of the company.  He is also responsible for overseeing all daily business activities for Post-Construction Cleaning by Ex-Zel. He has over 20 years of experience in customer service and customer facing in various industries, corporate and private. Adam joined us in 2016 and works closely with his executive teammates, staff and clients to uphold, strengthen and expand the quality and culture of Ex-Zel Janitorial Services.

Adam holds an A.A. In Liberal Arts from Hillsborough Community College in Tampa, FL. He is an avid golfer who also enjoys hiking, fishing, camping and spending time with his wife and daughter. 

Angela Domer

Office Manager

As Office Manager, Angela is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the office including all accounting functions and payroll processes. Since joining the company in 2015, she has worked closely with the executive management team to update and streamline procedures and help implement new policies as we grow. Angela has 25 years of experience with both private and public companies, large and small.  She is the Special Projects Chair on the board of the Northern Virginia Fall Prevention Coalition (NVFPC), a non-profit organization dedicated to the health and vitality of our senior population. She is responsible for publishing the annual handbook distributed by local hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and social workers who specialize in senior care.

Angela holds a BA in Business Administration from Guelph University at Humber College in Toronto, Canada. She moved to the United States 20 years ago and resides in Potomac Falls, Virginia with her husband and two dogs. Angela is very active in her community and loves entertain, especially during the holidays.     

Carla Valle

Administrative Assistant

As Administrative Assistant, Carla is responsible for a wide array of administrative functions such as payroll, banking, staff on-boarding and off-boarding, documenting, and maintaining office processes. She is committed in providing ongoing support to executives and driving organizational success through the management of daily operations and special projects. Carla is a dedicated multi-tasker with over 10 years of experience in customer service in the banking and finance industry.

Carla originally hails from the Philippines where she earned a BS in Computer Science at the University of St. La Salle.  She lives in Sterling, Virginia with her husband and three children who keep her busy with travel soccer and the family band.
